Dr Davis is a member of our practice working in Reno since 2005 after previously being in practice in Hannibal, MO (St Louis). He currently serves on staff at Renown Medical Center, Northern Nevada Medical Center (Chief of Surgery), St. Mary's Regional Medical Center and Renown South Meadows Medical Center.
Board Certified in Orthopaedic Surgery.
Membership American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. Renown Orthopaedic Trauma Panel.
General Orthopaedic surgery of the extremities and hand. Dr Davis has been in practice for approximately 15 years and has wide ranging experience as a traveling orthopaedic surgeon in locations as diverse as Alaska, Hawaii, and many regions of the US.
Primary hand surgeon for the practice with extensive experience in repair and reconstruction of complex tendon and nerve injuries as well as all aspects of hand fractures, degenerative conditions and work related injuries of the hand and wrist.
Performs over 300 surgeries per year

Practice Style

I will strive to create a solid working relationship with my patients to allow them to regain the maximum function after repair of their injury. Patients require a special relationship with the health care team to ensure return to activity which involves time consuming discussion in the office. Although this can create increased waiting time at appointments for the next patient, I would like to think everyone would want the same courtesy and understand that we are not "on the clock".
