Physical Therapy at 
Orthopaedic Associates
Physical therapy is the applied science of musculoskeletal strengthening, joint mobilization, muscle training, and ligament and tendon stretching used to rehabilitate the soft tissues before and after injury or surgery. It compromises one of the most important aspects of regaining normal function. Professional athletes use these methods to improve performance before competition and many medical conditions require the use of physical therapy to strengthen injured tissue; including heart/cardiovascular conditioning after bypass surgery, stroke patients regaining mobility, and most orthopaedic surgery patients.
Our Physical Therapy Department is a complete facility staffed by licensed physical therapists under the direction of Jeff Butler LPT. Jeff designs and implements a structured program of rehabilitation under the direction of your doctor.
Jeff has been the Director of the Physical Therapy Department at Orthopaedic Associates for over 5 years but began his career here as as extern almost 10 years ago. He also is actively involved in our PT externship training program preparing young men and women for their future in musculoskeletal medicine.
